EtherCAT 2-Phase Stepper Driver with Position Correction

The STP-K11x series are 2-phase Constant-current stepper motor drivers with a step-angle of 1.8° and 0.9°, and available in 2 power versions:

  • the STP-K111A for 2.8A,
  • the STP-K112A, for 4.2A ,

Most specs are configurable by SDO, like the Ethernet 100BASE-TX communication, current settings; resolution (between 200 400 ~ 51,200 pulse/revolution); and micro step (1, 2 ~ 256 dividers)

The Position Correction corrects motor position errors by an external encoder. It calculates the following error by comparing the actual position with the target position and automatically adjusts the motor.

As a result, the master controller does not need to compensate errors, such as backlash, lead screw pitch deviations, or torsion.

The driver completes positioning and remains stable without hunting.

Available are several I/O for:

  • PEL/ MEL (indicates the limit of motion in teach direction),
  • ORG, for moving to his start position, by with or without the feedback of an encoder, with different homing methods (like speed), to execute to his start position
  • EMG (Emergency Stop),
  • 2xDI and DO (for brakes, 250mA)
  • USB connection to connect your PC

The utility tool MyDrive will easily perform and monitor the tasks and become saved in a flash memory.

Choosing the right fan or blower

Many devices with electronic components deliver more power and have ever higher packing densities. Convection cooling is the most widely used solution, and the most cost-effective method, using air as a medium to dissipate heat by means of forced air movement.
Dynetics, with offices in Germany and the Netherlands, supports developers in selecting the most suitable product for their mechatronic task. For unit cooling without compromise, we have a wide range of axial-, radial, crossflow and centrifugal fans from leading manufacturers

At the upcoming PCIM trade fair, Dynetics will once again present its mechatronic products with Focus on its fans and blowers. Below we list some examples
